State expanding vaccine access to more people

MONTPELIER- Gov. Phil Scott announced the state would accelerate vaccine eligibility at his COVID-19 briefing Tuesday. 
On Monday, the state began scheduling appointments under Phase 5a of their vaccination age-banding plan, for Vermonters 55 and older with health conditions that put them at higher risk from COVID-19.  “On the first day, slightly under 10,000 people signed up,” Gov. Scott said.  “Which is a bit fewer than we hoped.
