DOVER - Several residents of Dover Hill Road expressed concerns about speed on the road at the selectboard’s meeting on Tuesday. Police chief Randy Johnson said police presence has been increased on the road in response to the complaints.
Jan Whitney, an East Dover resident, said she is concerned about the safety issues motorists speeding is creating. “Two weeks ago I was getting my mail and a pickup truck from New Hampshire came flying up the hill, it must have been doing 85,” she said. “When they fly by my driveway like that, I expect to hear a crash on that guardrail.”
