HALIFAX- Southern Valley School Board members discussed COVID-19 related concerns at their regular meeting Wednesday evening.
The board pondered how their schools might operate in the fall. School board chair Chum Sumner noted that CDC guidance has changed, and will likely continue to change before the beginning of the next school year. He said the agency of education and education secretary Dan French appear to be looking at three options - remote education, in-person education in school buildings, or a hybrid of the two.
