Snow Lake, dam, set to be removed to improve habitat
DOVER- Mount Snow’s former snowmaking pond, Snow Lake, and the dam that created it in 1961, are slated for removal in 2027.
At an informational meeting Monday evening, project consultants and others involved in the planning process presented an overview of the project, its benefits, and what the newly-created flood plain will look after the completion of the project.
