Scott names Florida official as new Vermont Secretary of Education
MONTPELIER- Gov. Phil Scott announced the appointment of former Florida education official Zoie Saunders to serve as Vermont’s secretary of education at a press conference on Friday, March 22.
Saunders will be moving with her husband and two children to Vermont from Broward County, FL, where she served as chief strategy and innovation officer for Broward County Schools. Her position as Vermont Secretary of Education officially begins on April 15.
