School looking at free lunch program

WILMINGTON- Twin Valley School Board members discussed ways the district can best meet the nutrition needs of its students through the federal free and reduced lunch program. 
Twin Valley Elementary School Principal Rebecca Fillion investigated federal programs that would allow the school to offer free lunch to all of its students, regardless of family income.  The programs eliminate the need for families to apply, and remove any social stigma associated with the free and reduced lunch program.
