School ends year with surplus

WILMINGTON- Twin Valley is likely to end the year with a “sizable” surplus, according to supervisory union officials.
Board members reviewed a budget summary that indicated there could be a surplus of around $200,000 at the end of the year.  Windham Southwest Supervisory Union Business Manager Karen Atwood said she was not expecting any significant expenditures to come in before the end of the fiscal year on June 30, but she cautioned board members that the surplus could be lower if there are unanticipated expenses before the end of the year.
