School district consider two-week holiday closure, opts to stay open

WARDSBORO- The River Valleys Unified Union School District Board held its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday. The board discussed the possibility of a two-week closure after the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, but decided no such closure will occur at this time. As the discussion took up the majority of the meeting’s allotted two hours, flu vaccination clinics, a vehicle purchase for the food program, HVAC updates and principal and supervisory union updates were brief.
