School choice vote to take place July 18

READSBORO- School board members set a tentative date for a special school district meeting for voters to weigh in on a proposal to offer school choice for students in seventh and eighth grade, but weren’t able to sign a warrant at their meeting Tuesday evening.
In a phone call with the board during their meeting, Windham Southwest Supervisory Union Business Manager Karen Atwood said the district’s legal counsel hadn’t provided recommended language for the warning as of Monday, but would have the required wording available no later than June 10.
