WARDSBORO - The River Valleys Unified Union Board decided Monday that it is not yet ready for in-person board meetings, despite groups of 25 now being permitted by Gov. Phil Scott.
In March, meetings for nearly all public bodies went virtual after Gov. Scott instituted his “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order due to COVID-19. On Monday, chair Rich Werner said that although groups of 25 are now allowed, he didn’t think the board should plan for its next meeting to be held in person.
