River Valleys voters asked to approve $6.8 million in spending at meeting

WARDSBORO - At their regular meeting on Monday, April 2, the River Valleys Union School District discussed the warning for the annual meeting on Tuesday, April 30, at Dover Town Hall at 7 pm. For fiscal year 2025, the proposed budget will be $6,845,217. They also received updates from the principals of The Dover School and Wardsboro Elementary.
The meeting began with chair Richard Werner listing proposed voted-on articles. “Article 1 is to elect a moderator and set a stipend. Article 2 is to elect a clerk and set a stipend,” said Werner.
