DEERFIELD VALLEY - Three ballot items, including the first-ever budget for the newly formed River Valleys Unified Union School District, comprising Dover and Wardsboro, passed on Town Meeting day. The matters were voted on by Australian ballot at Dover and Wardsboro’s separate Town Meetings. Two school board officials were also reelected.
Ballots for the district were voted on at the towns’ separate meetings but were co-mingled before they were entered into a tabulator machine in Dover, with officials from both towns looking on.
