Report raises concerns about playground equipment safety at Twin Valley

WHITINGHAM- Twin Valley School Board members discussed playground safety concerns with parents at their regular meeting Tuesday evening.
The safety issues were identified in a report following an inspection of the playground at Twin Valley’s Whitingham campus by risk management specialists with the Vermont School Boards Association in May.  According to the report, there were a number of hazards at the playground, including some that were labeled “priority 1 hazards” that could cause “permanent disability, loss of life or body part.”
