Regional policing gets tepid response
DOVER - At the Dover Selectboard meeting on Tuesday, chair Josh Cohen read aloud an invitation from the Wilmington Selectboard to attend a facilitated meeting about merging the towns’ police departments. The Dover board agreed to send a counter-invitation, expressing its desire to have a less formal conversation about the concept of a regional police department before a facilitator is involved.
