Readsboro passes all spending articles
READSBORO- Town Meeting voters passed every article on their 14-article warning Monday evening, and voters returned incumbents to most town offices in Australian balloting on Tuesday.
Selectboard chair Ray Eilers eked out a victory over write-in challenger Bart Howes, with 56 votes to Howes’ 53 write-in votes. On Monday evening, signs urging voters to write in Howes for the position lined the snowbanks along Phelps Lane.
