Public weighs in on plans for options for River Valleys school district

WARDSBORO - At Monday’s meeting of the River Valleys Unified School District, several members of the public, largely comprising residents from Wardsboro, were in attendance to hear a presentation from Windham Central Supervisory Union Superintendent Bill Anton about his suggestions for how the newly-formed Act 46-compliant district could be structured. Several members of the public expressed apprehension about a suggestion to extend Dover’s International Baccalaureate program to Wardsboro and about a suggestion to discontinue instruction in Wardsboro after grade three.
