Property sales boom drives down CLA, may drive up town tax rate
DOVER- At their regular meeting Tuesday evening, selectboard members discussed recently-released state tax equalization figures, settled concerns regarding the maintenance of a town trail, and punted a decision on snow removal for trail parking.
The board met with town assessor Linda Sherman to discuss the results of the state’s 2022 equalization study and the resulting common level of appraisal (CLA) and coefficient of dispersion (COD) figures for Dover.
