Police recruitment and retention a challenge
WILMINGTON - Police recruitment and retention tactics were discussed last week at a meeting of the bi-town economic development committee.
The committee comprises members from Dover and Wilmington. While giving an update about Dover economic development matters, bi-town committee member and Dover Selectboard Vice Chair Vicki Capitani said the town is actively recruiting a full-time officer, having recently received notice that one of its officers was resigning.
