Planned Parenthood to permanently close Bennington location, among others in Vermont

BENNINGTON - Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) announced on Friday that it will permanently close its Bennington location on June 12, along with four other locations statewide. In response, Planned Parenthood’s Brattleboro location will extend its hours, though it’s unclear how immediate that change will happen.
Eileen Sullivan, Vermont communications director for PPNNE, says the closure is the result of ongoing challenges related to the pandemic and the political climate in the United States.
