PFAS contamination at day care, library creates conundrum


Dover seeks a solution to water supply issues at two town-owned buildings on Dover Town Common - Dover Town Hall and the former school house, which now houses Dover Free Library and Kids in the Country Daycare.

DOVER- A question mark continues to hang over the water supply at Dover Town Common, despite the recent drilling of a new well and the expenditure of more than $120,000 to address PFAS contamination.  
At Tuesday evening’s regular selectboard meeting, the board discussed their options with their engineer, Stephen Diglio, of KAS Consulting, and Vermont Agency of Natural Resources Hydrogeologist Erin Stewart and and Engineering and Water Resources Program Manager Sille Larsen.
