At opioids meeting, discussion digs deep into personal pain and loss

WILMINGTON - At Tuesday’s meeting of a community group working to address the opioid crisis in the valley, attendees engaged in an hour of unplanned discussion that was at times tense and at others emotional. It was a raw and frank conversation between individuals who have family members currently struggling with addiction, those who have lost family members to addiction, those who are in recovery, and those who provide medical care to individuals who are struggling with addiction and individuals who are in recovery.
