Opioid group hopes to come up with plan to deal with used needles

WILMINGTON - On Tuesday, January 28, the grassroots group currently known as the “Opioid Task Force” met for the first time in the new year. The group reviewed state recommendations for how to handle needles found outdoors, and discussed drug courts as well as representation from the group in the Windham County Consortium on Substance Use. The group ended the meeting by brainstorming a new name for itself.
