The story that attracted the most attention from online readers this year was Vail Resorts’ announcement that Mount Snow General Manager Tracey Bartels would be relocated to Colorado at the end of the 2022 ski season to take on the role of vice president of maintenance, planning, and project management. Bartels earned respect locally as Vail’s first pick as general manager after their purchase of Mount Snow.
