Old Home Week puts a charge into town
WILMINGTON- Old Home Week, the town’s celebration of people, businesses, and history, came to an end on Sunday.
The good news, for those who love the once-in-a-decade event, is that the wait for the next Wilmington Old Home Week will only be nine years instead of the usual decade. Originally scheduled for August 2020, the town’s 14th decennial Old Home Week was postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The next Wilmington Old Home Week will return to its historic schedule in 2030.
