WILMINGTON- Last year, two of the valley’s biggest events, Wilmington’s Old Home Week and the Blueberry Festival were canceled as the reality of a prolonged pandemic became clear.  Will those events be able to return for this summer?  Organizers are optimistic they will.
Nicki Steel, chair of the Old Home Week Committee, says the group hasn’t made a definite decision yet.  “We’ve said that we will decide no later than our June meeting, but it’s possible we’ll decide before then,” she said.
