WILMINGTON- Selectboard members approved spending for sidewalk improvements on North Main Street at their regular meeting Tuesday evening. 
Wilmington Works Director Meg Staloff, sitting in for economic development consultant Gretchen Havreluk, said the North Main Street sidewalks needed improvements, and especially the sidewalks on the west side of the street “due to the Great Lake of North Main Street next to the Cask and Kiln.”  The low-lying area of sidewalk typically pools up with any substantial rain or snow melt, forcing pedestrians into the street.
