New police and fire facility gets green light
WILMINGTON- The selectboard gave the go-ahead to the town’s public safety facilities committee to prepare a request for proposals for a feasibility study to build a new fire and police station. The approval came at Tuesday’s regular board meeting, after a discussion about a new building and some urging for a big-picture view to make the surrounding area more of a focal point of the community.
