Multiple crews called to fight fire

READSBORO- A two-alarm fire ripped through a King Hill Road home Tuesday afternoon, and lack of cell phone service is at least partially to blame for the structure’s destruction.
According to Readsboro Fire Department Chief Adam Codogni, the homeowner was soldering pipes underneath the building when some insulation caught fire. The owner was able to scramble out from under the building and reach his pickup truck and cell phone, but had to drive to another location where service was available and he could call for help.
