Mount Snow part of massive Vail lift overhaul project
DOVER - Skiers and riders at Mount Snow got an unexpected lift last week. Two of them, to be exact.
On Thursday, Vail Resorts announced a $320-million capital expansion plan that includes 19 new chairlifts at 14 Vail-owned resorts. As part of that plan, Mount Snow will see two new high-speed chairlifts replace three fixed-grip lifts currently on the mountain.
