Most Town Meeting budgets pass
DEERFIELD VALLEY- Few budgets failed in valley towns this year and, for the most part, incumbents who were seeking another term were elected without opposition.

Although Halifax’s Town Meeting was otherwise uneventful, witnesses said the meeting was interrupted and delayed by a voter who failed to yield the floor after speaking on Article 6, which asked voters to approve an appropriation of $500 for the MOOver. Similar articles were passed in Whitingham, Wilmington, and Dover.
