Man convicted of 2008 killing dies in prison, according to state officials

WATERBURY- David Boglioli, who was incarcerated following a conviction of voluntary manslaughter in the 2008 shooting death of George Riccitelli in Wilmington, died on Tuesday, February 21, at the age of 73, according to the Vermont Department of Corrections. Boglioli was convicted of voluntary manslaughter in July 2009, after an eight-day trial and 18 hours of jury deliberation.  According to testimony and evidence at the trial, Boglioli shot Riccitelli outdoors at a Higley Hill Road complex owned by Ken Willis where the two men resided in separate buildings.
