Editor's Note: After this story was published, the Vermont Department of Libraries sent an update to The Deerfield Valley News that it had gotten word that it is likely to receive its full allotment from the IMLS, rather than the approximate half it believed it was receiving when department officials sent information to The Deerfield Valley News for this article. Funding has not yet been received, but as of now, the department has been told it may receive funding similar to what it received last year, $1.24 million.
