DOVER - On Monday, September 30, Gov. Phil Scott announced that he was appointing Kerry McDonald-Cady, of Dover, to the Vermont Superior Court.
McDonald-Cady was previously the deputy state’s attorney in Windham County, where she worked in the family division. In that realm, much of her work has been focused on cases that relate to children, and therefore are confidential. In an interview with The Deerfield Valley News last week, McDonald-Cady says she believes that work gives her a unique, and needed, perspective, which she’ll bring with her to the judiciary.
