Local filmmaker’s script to be read at Vermont festival

EAST DOVER - In October, Sean Kirby received a Creation Grant from the Vermont Arts Council to write a script for his upcoming feature film, “I Am My Domain.” The script is now in its second draft. In April, as part of the Made Here Film Festival, a portion of the script will be performed at a staged reading in Burlington.
The script centers around Ascutney dairy farmer Romaine Tenney, a Vermont dairy farmer whose land, including his house and barn, was taken through eminent domain during the construction of Interstate 91.
