Lobbyist says town making headway in education funding change

The Dover Selectboard held a hybrid Zoom/in-person meeting Tuesday

DOVER- Although meaningful change in education funding may take another year to enact, the issue of student weighting has gained traction in the Vermont Legislature, according to lobbyist Adam Necrason.  Necrason, along with Rep. Laura Sibilia, and Dover School Board member Marc Schauber met with selectboard members Tuesday evening to update them on efforts to implement changes in the state’s student weighting formula.
