Listers granted stay, loans may go

Wilmington Selectboard met by Zoom Tuesday evening

WILMINGTON- Selectboard members heard a plea from the town’s listers to stay on for another year, and approved a loan forgiveness opportunity, at their regular meeting Tuesday evening.
Lister Jerry Osler, speaking for the board of listers, asked the board not to eliminate the listers’ positions and hire an assessor, as was previously planned.  Osler recapped a number of issues the listers had faced over the last year which hampered their progress on the recently completed reappraisal, and a number of issues that still remain to be taken care of.
