WARDSBORO - This week, it was announced that the entire staff at the Wardsboro Library had resigned over disagreements about the library’s trustees’ wishes to open the library to the public amid the COVID-19 pandemic. On Tuesday, the. trustees held a “circumstantial emergency meeting” to discuss the resignations. Despite questions from the public and a written statement read aloud by the trustees, little context about the specifics around the issue was provided to the public, and the trustees said they are unwilling to talk to the press about the matter.
