Legislators, school officials pitch education funding changes

MONTPELIER- Legislators sponsoring H.54, a bill that would change the way education funding money is distributed in Vermont, and school officials from across the state, urged the Legislature to pass the bill this year at a press conference Monday.
H.54 was introduced in January by Rep. Laura Sibilia and co-sponsored by John Gannon and 11 other legislators. The bill is currently in the House Education Committee.
