Land purchase will preserve headwaters while keeping public access

197 acres conserved in Marlboro
MARLBORO - Green Mountain Conservancy has purchased 197 acres of land in Marlboro, which will be conserved in partnership with the Vermont River Conservancy and the Vermont Housing Conservation Board. The area, known as the Old Oaks Headwaters Preserve, will be accessible to the public and will protect trail access as well as natural and drinking-water resources.
