Judge rules Haystack development to get full Act 250 scrutiny
WILMINGTON- A residential development in the so-called Haystack “East Tract” proposed by Comtuck LLC will require a full Act 250 review, according to Environmental Court Judge Thomas Durkin.
Durkin’s order, issued on Friday, November 2, upholds a jurisdictional opinion issued by District 2 Environmental Coordinator Stephanie Gile in May 2017. Gile’s opinion was in response to a request made by Comtuck in April 2017.
At about the same time, Comtuck presented their development plans to the Wilmington Development Review Board during a permit hearing.
