Independent Senate candidate staying above the fray
DOVER- Tim Wessel, an independent candidate running for Windham County senator, met with local legislator Laura Sibilia at Dover Park Tuesday morning.
A week before the general election, the two candidates hoped to meet with voters, but a cold morning rain appeared to dampen the enthusiasm of pedestrians. Wessel and Sibilia, who is also an independent, discussed the challenges of running as an independent, as well as the benefits party independence can offer.
