Incumbent brings experience, challenger a new perspective
WHITINGHAM - On Town Meeting Day, voters in Whitingham will choose who will serve in a three-year seat on the Whitingham Selectboard. The race has attracted two candidates, Abigail Crosby and Greg Brown.
Brown was appointed to the board in August 2021 after losing reelection to it in 2019. Prior to the 2019 loss, Brown had served on the board since 2004. Crosby officially moved to Whitingham in 2021, but has had ties to it longer — her in-laws have been in the town since the 1950s. This is her first time running for Whitingham Selectboard, or office in general.
