House committee votes to uphold Cooper win
MONTPELIER- In a livestreamed meeting Wednesday, the House Government Operations and Military Affairs committee voted in favor of a report recommending the Legislature uphold the election of Jonathan Cooper as Bennington-1 Representative.
In a 9 - 1 vote, with one member absent, the House “Gov Ops” committee voted to “(affirm) the certified election results and (find) that Representative Jonathan Cooper, of Pownal, was duly elected and is qualified to represent House District Bennington-1 as a member of the House of Representatives.
