Historical society receives roof grant
HALIFAX - The Halifax Historical Society has been awarded a $7,500 grant to replace the roof of its building, which in and of itself is a bit of town history.
The grant was announced in late January by Gov. Phil Scott, the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation (VDHP), and the Vermont Advisory Council on Historic Preservation.
