MONTPELIER- More economic relief is in sight for business owners and their employees, Gov. Phil Scott said at his press conference Tuesday.
Scott said recent federal stimulus legislation included an extension of the Paycheck Protection Program, and more flexible rules for its administration.  “Last spring and summer the PPP was an important program that helped keep businesses open and Vermonters employed,” Gov. Scott said.  “Vermont lenders made over 12,000 loans, many of which were forgivable, totaling over $1.2 billion.”
