Halifax ready to meet

HALIFAX- Halifax Town Moderator Paul Blais opened a recent informational meeting this week by introducing himself as candidate for moderator and discussing his efforts to keep up to date with rules and regulations affecting the town. Other candidates were also presented.
Lewis Sumner drew a laugh from the sizable audience by simply announcing “I’m running for selectman.” Sumner has served on the selectboard for a total of 51 years.
