Grassroots efforts a must to get connected


Wireless repeaters, upper left, were thought to be a solution in rural towns. But CoverageCo went bankrupt, leaving towns without service.

DOVER - During a presentation at the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation’s second annual “Connectivity Summit,” held Friday at Mount Snow, Laura Sibilia told attendees that it is up to them to organize and bring high-speed internet to their towns. Sibilia, who is the BDCC Director of Regional Economic Development Strategies and Programs and is also a state legislator, shared strategies for getting organized.
