Grant will help develop winter park, walking trails

WILMINGTON- Wilmington Works has secured one of three AARP “winter placemaking” grants awarded in Vermont.
AARP says this year’s grant program focused on projects that promote winter activities by people of all ages.  “Vermont’s winter months can be long and dark and contribute greatly to social isolation, especially with COVID-related restrictions,” according to the AARP announcement.  “So, creating ways to encourage outdoor activities and social engagement is more important than ever.”
