Governor, legislators at odds over affordable housing, Act 250 reforms

MONTPELIER- Gov. Phil Scott, members of his administration, and a bipartisan pair of House members beseached legislators to move forward with regulatory reform legislation they say will begin to ease the state’s housing crisis. 
“Workers need housing they can afford,” Gov. Scott said.  “Employers need workers to survive, and we desperately need more taxpayers – not more taxes – but none of it is possible without housing.”
