Gov. Scott urges ongoing commitment to COVID fight

MONTPELIER- “As we have on the 19th of every month, tomorrow we will be lowering the flag to half-staff to honor the 107 Vermonters we’ve lost to COVID-19,” Gov. Phil Scott said Friday, December 18.  “For months we were fortunate here in Vermont, not seeing our number of deaths rise, but as we’ve seen more cases, we’ve seen more deaths. And though it is a number that keeps ticking up, we must remember these are not just numbers, these are people.”  In a serious tone, Gov. Scott urged Vermonters to “stay committed to our work.”
